Serbian Chamber of Commerce enjoys long standing tradition and institutional power for establishing and development of representative offices of Serbian economy abroad. Serbian Chamber of Commerce Representative Offices abroad are set up with a view to promoting Serbian economy at international markets and to improving export activities as well as to attracting direct foreign investments.
Serbian Chamber of Commerce currently has its representative offices in ten countries of which Serbia realizes 50% on average of total foreign trade exchange: Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Italy,France, Germany, Russia, Romania and Ukraine, as well as two branch offices in Munich and Padova.
Serbian Chamber of Commerce Representative Offices abroad perform the following tasks:
- Provide information on economic trends in a host country
- Promote offers of economic entities from the Republic of Serbia
- Establish business contacts and make preparations necessary for business people’s visits to a host country
- Organize participation in symposiums, seminars and other related manifestations held in a host country
- Provide other services at the requests of economic entities
The overall objective of Serbian Chamber of Commerce is to establish more indirect relations between SCC Representative Offices abroad and Serbian companies.
